The restoration phares
Since M.C Paris discovered My Son Relics Complex in 1898, a group of French scientists leading by Henri Parmentier cooperated with Charles Carpeaux at  French École française d'Extrême-Orient(EFEO) have carried out a  project of explorating and researching the Relics from February 3rd , 1904. The architectual works was distributed scatteredly, in a valley roughly two kilometres wide between two mountain ranges , located quite far from the near residential.
The archeologists  concentratedly made  an  effort into the West of the Relics where a large number of achitectures ( the relic groups such as B, C and D categorized by Parmentier later) gathered first, then they started their work in group A, E, and F....

The result of surveys carried by Henri Parmentier at this Relics  was announced in 1909 and published in the In-ventaire des monuments čams de l’Annam publication.
From 1937 to 1944, French École française d'Extrême-Orient(EFEO) restored the towers belong to A, B,C,D groups. A dam built in 1939 to move the current of th large stream to ensafe for the A tower complex but destroyed by a big flood in 1946.

Architects Kazimierz Kwiatkowski (Kazik)

The researching works here  over 40 years was interupted after this phase . It was not until 1980 that  the Vietnam-Poland Bilateral Restoring Project leading by Kazimierz Kwiatkowski restarted.
Kazimierz Kwiatkowski worked with a group of  relic experts , architects, construction engineers, photogrammetry technical experts and archeological ones, ect... In  the side of Vietnamese reseaching group leading by the architect Hoang Dao Kinh, included other architects, engineers, archeological experts and graphics technician. During the years from 1980 to 1986, VietNamese-Polish group performed the following works:
- Archeological examining My Son Relics Complex and obligatory restorating interferences as well as technical reinforcing to tower- temple in the Relics.
- Researching about the constructing technology of the Cham architecture at the labs at Warsaw and Torun.
- Brightening   and refixing the floor of the towers and temples belong to Group A, B , C and D( collecting work included gathering thousands of stone and rock cubics, filling in the bom holes and picking up  grass and bush that rooting deeply into the brick scuptures.
- Cleaning up and collecting thousands of old brick found in pile of ruins, then categorizing the brick to reuse.
- Cleaning up and gathering the decorating patterns with burned earth or rock, locating its origin providing  for later repositioning. The patterns which could not locate its origininal position kept back and displayed in relic section.
- Urgent reinforcing the towers and other  architectural remains , using modern technology solutions.
- Reconstructing the base of flattened architecture( at C Group) from the remaining parts to maintain present traces in the overall architecture of B, C, and D Group. The reusing work of old bricks and cement aims to reveal the parts that restored and avoilds confusing with original architecture. The decorating patterns were relocated into where its  original position defined.
- In some cases, basing on reliable scienctific evidences, the experts would let themself recover some relics limitedly. However, the caution in international restoration rules would make them unable to counterfeit delibrately the lost details. Instead, they considered to show the restorating components with the methods that later generations are able to differentiate between the restoring part and the original ones.
